Who am I?

Happy Monday, beautiful! I wanted to show you one of my latest creations – this maxi dress/top.

I have always loved maxi dresses but for some reason they just don’t look that great on me. They look great on everyone else but I just feel weird in them – probably because I’m not showing off any leg and I just feel so… trapped.

“You are not the same person you were last week, last month, last year, or last decade! You are this living and breathing being that is constantly evolving and adapting. Embrace whatever change you are experiencing in your life right now – good and bad – because it’s these changes that are going to make future you look back and appreciate how far you’ve come, and how strong you’ve become.”

As a compromise, I decided to make myself a maxi dress with really high side slits. At least this way I get to free my limbs, haha! I made one in white and because of the flowy fabric, I just feel so angelic. But I don’t usually do angelic… if I do, I’m going to add some of my usual edge – which is why I paired it with my black skinnies and booties. On another note… I’m going to be super busy for the next few months and may need to go dark. I just want to give you a heads up in case you may wonder why I’m so quiet on social media. Sometimes I wonder what life was like before social media – I just cannot imagine it, but what I do know is this… I had a lot of time on my hands to do real life sh*t. It all boils down to your priorities and doing what makes sense for you in your life in the present moment. My priorities change as I grow into the woman I am meant to be, but at the same time, I have to realize that I’m the one who creates that woman, and that is something truly powerful. The change is consistent. You are not the same person you were last week, last month, last year, or last decade! You are this living and breathing being that is constantly evolving and adapting. It can be scary, but it’s beautiful. Embrace whatever change you are experiencing in your life right now – good and bad – because it’s these changes that are going to make future you look back and appreciate how far you’ve come, and how strong you’ve become.
