Who am I?

After about a week of going offline, I have finally re-launched Scarlet Aura blog’s new look and feel.

Among the craziness of work, life, husband, pets, friends, family, blogging, and studying, I always make time for my creative passion.

Bodycon Dress – Made By Me // Boots – Queue // Vogue Clutch – Taken By Storm @ YDE

” I took my mom for a top-down drive in my car. She had so much fun with her hands in the sky, enjoying the wind through her fingers. It was just so lovely to see her so happy. I hope that I will grow into the strong, amazing and beautiful woman she is.”

With that said, I made this sexy yet cute blush pink bodycon dress. I want to experiment with different necklines so I created the dress using a high crew neckline. I honestly don’t know if this is even what it’s called, but I’m using the same technique you would use on a sweater or t-shirt. I think it turned out okay, considering it was my first attempt and all! I paired the dress with my black boots (I wish they were suede over-the-knee boots) and my statement clutch. Overall, the look is pretty minimal – hardly any accessories – but that’s because I didn’t wanna take too much attention away from the dress. Even though the look is quite edgy, the soft blush pink hue of the dress tones it down a bit, giving it a chic and feminine vibe. I spent Mother’s Day with my mom and sister. We had a lovely day filled with amazing food, dessert, makeovers, and messing around with the “slo-mo” effect on my phone, and finally around sunset, I took my mom for a top-down drive in my car. She had so much fun with her hands in the sky, enjoying the wind through her fingers. It was just so lovely to see her so happy. I hope that I will grow into the strong, amazing and beautiful woman she is. My hubby is in Barcelona attending a UX conference for the week, and I miss him dearly. It has honestly been the longest two days of my life since he left and it feels weird not having him around! I’m hoping this week could just fly by as I’ve already had to deal with two spiders.
