I got so excited when I first saw this shirt at LABEL Collections. It is reminiscent of a kendo uniform, and we all know how much I love all things Japanese. It makes me feel like I wanna do a sword fighting routine, even though this is, in fact, a maternity shirt – perfect for food babies, haha!
Don’t get any ideas, please.
“I used to “vlog” when I was in my teens – I used to put on little comedy skits for my family and I’d have them in stitches! I used to be super funny, and even today, I still have my moments.”
I had quite a relaxing weekend. We spent most of our time with friends – we had nachos and a couch gaming session, and on Sunday we took a drive to Root 44 for lunch and some much needed afternoon fun, making the most of the last warm days before the harsh cold sets in. Apart from that, I spent a lot of time editing personal vlogs – the kind that won’t ever see the light of day, and when I say light of day, I mean publicly on the internet. It’s really just for us so that twenty years from now we can look back and cherish our moving picture memories. With technology so readily available to us these days, making memories last forever is a thing for the future. I certainly wish I had this when I was little! It would be so fun watching videos I made when I was a child. In fact, I used to “vlog” when I was in my teens – I used to put on little comedy skits for my family and I’d have them in stitches! I used to be super funny, and even today, I still have my moments. That footage is on VHS somewhere, I have no idea where, and even if I find it, how on earth am I going to find a device that will actually play it. It’s a pity the digital age didn’t come sooner, but I suppose it’s also a blessing in disguise, because back then, we had the full moment. Nowadays there isn’t a single moment where a digital device isn’t involved, and even though that’s kinda cool, it’s also kinda sad. Ah well.
