Who am I?

I love dark red… and this oxblood colour caught my eye when I went fabric shopping a few weeks ago. I decided to make myself a sheer maxi with double side slits and I think it turned out pretty sweet!

To add to the edginess of the look, I paired it with my new textured black crop top from YDE and to make the overall look more casual, I wore my beanie from Jay Jays and my Blackcherry duffel bag… my everything, everyday, everywhere bag.

I was on leave this past week and I spent it with my hubby and two of our good friends. We went to a place I like to call Narnia… a beautiful house on a river – the same place hubby and I went to on our honeymoon last year.

“I constantly found myself wondering how on earth we managed to make social media part of our daily lives… the lines between the digital world and reality have become so blurred that even if you are not “managing” your online profile – you are still part of the movement, whether you like it or not – and if you don’t keep up, my goodness, you will feel seriously left behind!”

The holiday was blissful and much needed in the middle of this crazy year! And even though I promised myself to not make contact with the digital world, I just couldn’t help myself! I constantly found myself wondering how on earth we managed to make social media part of our daily lives… the lines between the digital world and reality have become so blurred that even if you are not “managing” your online profile – you are still part of the movement, whether you like it or not – and if you don’t keep up, my goodness, you will feel seriously left behind! Things are constantly changing and we are simply required to adapt to those changes. Being a developer and blogger I suppose it’s expected of me. Boo.

On another note… have you seen the #FiftyShades trailer?! I haven’t been able to get past Chapter 1 of the book and everything in the opening scene of the trailer is exactly how I imagined it in the book. I think I should just read the damn book before the movie comes out next February. I don’t know why I’m so scared.
