Who am I?

These past few months have been rough. My Dad passed away just before the New Year and I was crushed. I still am, crushed. And I don’t think I will ever be the same. It’s been a tough few months, but I am finally at a place where I’m feeling better, and ready to be myself again.

So much has happened since I last posted on this blog. I don’t wanna get into any details, but rather, share with you a highlight of my 2018. I celebrated my 36th birthday in October last year, and I decided to finally get the sewing machine I’ve been saving up for since I first started working on one a few years ago… I finally got my Bernina! I ended up getting the B535 because I could easily upgrade it to use an embroidery unit. I love my machine so much, I still cannot believe it’s mine! I thought I’d share my first sewing project I made on it with you.

I had sewing labels made for all my garments – it makes my projects feel legit! What do you think?

I made a red one just like this one and wore it on Christmas – here are some snaps.

I’d really like to get back into the flow of posting more on this blog and sharing my creative journey with you. I used to enjoy it so much, but I’ve been going through a lot in the latter part of 2018 that it just hasn’t been a priority for me. However, here’s to getting the ball rolling again!

Until next time, keep creating.
