Ever since I launched my blog, I decided to approach my blogging in a more focussed way, you know, my niche. By making it my aim to take things to a new level has opened up so many doors for me, and I am feeling so grateful for all the support so far.
The most rewarding of all, are all the amazing new friends and connections I have made on this blogging journey – who knew this whole other world existed? I love how it took me out of my comfort zone, and allowed me explore a side of me that has unlocked my creativity, my true calling, my passion, and my need to be something… MORE.
“Who says you can’t be stylish in winter, right?”
Since the launch I have been featured/mentioned on Stylish South Africa, Style GF, Truworths, as well as SKV Fashion. Within two days of launching my new blog, I already received over 1000 hits, which blew my mind, really. It has been a crazy ride so far and I’m truly honoured, and blessed to have had the support I have received from all of you, my dear readers, and it’s just amazing to see all the behind-the-scenes hard work and consistent persistence paying off. I wore this ensemble to the Blogger Brunch hosted by Grey Garnet at the Three Cities Bantry Bay Suite Hotel. It was pretty chilly out, so instead of wearing my Mono dress from YDE as a full on dress-dress – I pulled over a black t-shirt for some added warmth, and also to convert it into a skater skirt. I tucked my tee into the cute bow belt that comes with the dress to accéntuate my waistline, and wore black tights and black booties to elongate my legs. Lastly, I threw on my black faux leather biker jacket and scarf.
