They say the early years of marriage is supposed to be the hardest, but I honestly still don’t know what they are talking about! My husband makes everything so easy for me.
I cannot believe that it’s been two years already – how time has flown! I feel so blessed and so lucky to be able to celebrate our wonderful marriage on this special day.
“Two years ago today was the day I realized that happily ever afters DO exist. Thank you for making my fairy tale come true, dear husband, Ricardo Harvey. Marrying you, my best friend, is truly the most significant thing I’ve ever done in my life. Thank you for the most blissful two years of marriage so far, thank you for proving that a girl’s Prince Charming does exist, and most of all, thank you for being you. I look forward to sharing the rest of my life with you. Happy Anniversary, my love… elephant shoe <3"
We went out for a six-course dinner at La Mouette in Sea Point. It’s a really pretty mansion-like vibe close to the end of the main road in Sea Point and we sat in the balmy outdoors surrounded by ambient lights, with blankies. It was truly romantic – and certainly an interesting experience. Even though the portions were quite small, it started feeling like torture after the fourth course! I didn’t want to dress up too much, so I opted for something casual-chic. You can’t go wrong with a white tee, grey skater skirt (yes, I know, I could have made this skirt myself, but I ran out of time) and some pointy heels. I added a bright red lip to up the ante just a tad. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been loving red lips lately – my hubby isn’t a huge fan of it because he can’t kiss me, haha. At one point he had cute red lips too! I need to get some of those 24-hour colorstay thingies.
